Music Teacher Email Phone: 262-367-3606 x298 This is my 8th year teaching. How time flies! My wife Kendria and our two boys Jace and Teddy live in Pewaukee, WI. We also have a dog named Odie. My love for music started before I could even remember when my mother would play the piano and I would sing the notes back to her. In addition to singing I also play bass.
During school I participated in choir, orchestra and jazz band. I attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point for my undergraduate degree where I got a B.A. in music education and a B.M. in vocal music performance. I then went onto the University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign to earn my Masters in Opera Performance and Literature.
As an adult I have been learning to play a variety of different instruments such as, ukulele, guitar, and drums. I am even pleased to say that my sons have started studying instruments of their own with my oldest playing Saxophone and my youngest on the Drums. Yes, our home can be a bit noisy at times but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Music has always been an important part of my life. It has opened many doors for me and brought me a sense of joy and peace. One of the greatest joys as a music teacher is watching my students become musicians in their own right. Then they can experience the joy of music making for themselves. Music education is vital to a well-rounded learning experience. I truly believe in music and the power of the imagination to unlock potential in our lives. Please feel free to contact me if you need anything. My classroom is always open, so please stop in and join in the fun of music making!
