Lake Country School District has a proud tradition of academic excellence, consistently ranking among the top districts in Wisconsin and nationally.
In order to ensure our students and our school continue to thrive, maintaining high-quality academic and co-curricular programming and retaining exceptional educators, LCSD must secure additional funding.
An operational referendum allows the District to extend the revenue limit by the requested amount, essentially bringing in local dollars to fund the costs associated with running the District, such as:
- Academic resources to keep classrooms both effective and innovative
- Fair wages and competitive benefits for staff
- Food service and transportation expenses
- Athletic and co-curricular activities for students
- Rising costs associated with utilities, classroom supplies, and building maintenance
Every student in the Lake Country School District benefits from referendum dollars.
